Description

An exclusive creation from our modern-day Viking craftsmen. This replica of a viking Mjölnir was found in the locality of Kabara, province of Scania, Sweden.
The original model was made by filigree and granulation.

 Thor's Hammer, or Mjöllnir, is the God Thor's magical weapon. 

The magical hammer is unbreakable, it always hits the target and then comes back to the owner's hand.
The hammer flies through the sky in the form of a lightning.
The word Mjöllnir means "grinder" or "crusher". To be able to handle the hammer Thor wears a pair of iron gloves and a strength belt. 
The mjöllnir amulets were worn by the Norse seamen and warriors.

        Encore une fois, très beau modèle, j'aime sa forme asymétrique, la représentant des loups Geri et Freki ornant chaque côté, tournant dans le sens des aiguille d'une montre autour de l'aegishjalmur, ça fait vraiment effet! Petit bémol, je trouve que le modèle est un peut trop poncé par endroit sur le heaume de awe, mais l'ensemble reste très beau et mon auriculaire est bien "habillé" maintenant.
